So, remember how I said our kids were now living at the transition house in [Capital City]? Well, I was wrong. They are actually, apparently, having the time of their lives with all their buddies at summer camp! Or, at least that’s what I’m calling it based on the information and pictures we have received since they arrived. It makes my heart so happy to hear reports of how much fun they seem to be having in their new, temporary home. We’re seeing pictures of all the kids laughing, playing, and just having fun with all their new friends. We even got to see pictures of a birthday party last week, complete with a cake and party favors! They look so well taken care of and they seem really happy. In fact, they seem downright silly!
And after months of seeing so many sad & frowny-face pictures, it feels amazing to see them look so happy. They finally look like kids being kids. I love it!
Have fun at camp kiddos! Mommy and Daddy will pick you up soon!
And when we think about you…this thing came apart…

oh my goodness, I love it! It’s so sad seeing all the pictures of kids that just look so sad and empty. It’s great seeing some smiling, happy pictures!
I know it! It’s so wonderful to see such happy faces!!!
My girls too look like normal, healthy kids- not like sad orphans anymore. So glad they are there and all doing well! Now, if only we were there with them it would be perfect! Soon enough
I am so happy all our sweethearts are there together. Now I’m ready for us to go and join the party!
Soon!
so sweet!!!
