This is not a post about how jealous I am that all my [Home Country] buddies have had or are having their embassy appointments a week before we are. This is only a post about how excited I am that all my [Home Country] buddies have had or are having their embassy appointments NOW! Some were on Friday and some are tomorrow and I PROMISE you I am so crazy happy for them. Ok, maybe I’m 90% crazy happy and 10% super jealous – but seriously, more happy than jealous. Please, please, please pray for these awesome families who are so close to bringing their children home! Please pray that their paperwork will move quickly and smoothly with NO hiccups along the way. These mommies and daddies could be on their way to Africa to hold their children in their arms in as little as 3 weeks! This is so exciting to me! And we are just one loooooooong week behind them!

Please pray for us as we inch closer and closer. I am so anxious and ready to finally meet our babies. I can’t tell you how many times a day I stop and think about how close we are and I just feel like I’m going to burst out of my skin. If all goes well, we could be traveling in about an month. That’s only 4 more weeks! Aaaaahhhhh!!!
